PRICING AND FEES
Pricing and Fees
Squirrel Prep Center LLC
Published rates for FBA and WFS preparation, Standard 3PL Fulfillment, storage, returns, pallets and separately approved additional work.
1. How charges are applied
All rates are in U.S. dollars. The Client authorizes payment through the card it registers using the available portal and Stripe process. Service invoices are generated and authorized charges processed when the requested work is completed; other approved charges may be invoiced when incurred. Carrier postage and freight, any applicable taxes, and approved extra materials are separate. An accepted written quote controls the specific work it covers. There are no undisclosed mandatory Squirrel account, software or order charges.
We bill marketplace-bound FBA/WFS preparation separately from direct-to-customer 3PL fulfillment because they are different services. Holding stock for future orders does not include unlimited storage. The per-order fulfillment fee covers the defined standard pick-and-pack work; the Client funds each shipping label to the final customer.
2. Minimum inbound and account fees
Item | Rate or condition |
Standard single-product inbound minimum | 200 individual products of the same SKU per inbound shipment. |
Big Size single-product inbound minimum | 200 individual Big Size products of the same SKU per inbound shipment. |
Bundle or multipack inbound minimum | 100 completed bundles of the same defined bundle SKU per inbound shipment; supply enough components to complete all 100. |
Monthly unit minimum | None. |
Required deposit | None. |
Setup and onboarding | No Squirrel charge. |
Squirrel monthly account fee | None. |
3. Inbound receiving
Service | Squirrel charge | Scope |
Standard carton receiving | No additional fee | Ordinary receipt, count and exterior review under operating policies. |
LTL receiving | No additional fee | Carrier freight is separate. |
FTL or container unloading | $15 per pallet | One charge for the unloading service, not one for FTL plus another for the same container. |
Ordinary inbound discrepancy documentation is part of receiving; the return-processing fee is not automatically charged for a damaged unit discovered in a wholesale inbound.
4. FBA and WFS marketplace preparation rates
These rates apply to accepted preparation and outbound shipments to an Amazon FBA or Walmart WFS facility. They do not price later direct-to-consumer FBM, Walmart seller-fulfilled, Shopify or eBay sales orders.
Service | Rate | Limits and billable unit |
Standard single product | $0.59 per prepared unit | Up to 16 × 12 × 8 inches and 4 lb per unit. |
Bundle or multipack | $0.99 for up to 2 component units; +$0.50 per additional component unit, per finished pack | At least 2 components; up to 25 × 20 × 15 inches and 10 lb per finished pack; components and configuration must be identified. |
Big Size single product | $0.99 per prepared unit | Exceeds any standard single limit, but no more than 25 × 20 × 15 inches and 10 lb. |
Ordinary receiving, visual inspection, labeling and polybagging when required for the product are included in the applicable prep rate. The bundle component charge is per finished bundle, not a charge for every component separately: a 3-component bundle costs $1.49 and a 4-component bundle costs $1.99 for ordinary FBA/WFS preparation. Different bundle quantities or component SKUs must be defined as distinct bundle configurations. The Big Size rate applies as soon as a standard dimension or 4 lb limit is exceeded, including a unit between 4 and 5 lb. Above the Big Size maximum requires review and a prior quote and may be declined.
5. Volume rates for marketplace prep
For an approved run of at least 10,000 standard or Big Size singles of the same SKU, or 10,000 finished bundles of the same defined bundle SKU, the following rates apply to that run, subject to the same size and weight limits. Bundle components do not each count as finished bundles toward this threshold. Different SKUs or bundle configurations are not combined to qualify automatically.
FBA/WFS prep service | Rate at 10,000 or more of one SKU |
Standard single | $0.50 per unit |
Bundle or multipack | $0.89 for up to 2 component units; +$0.50 per additional component unit, per finished pack |
Big Size single | $0.89 per unit |
These volume discounts do not automatically apply to Standard 3PL Fulfillment consumer orders.
6. Standard 3PL Fulfillment for FBM and online stores
This service receives the Client’s goods under the inbound process, keeps them in Squirrel storage, waits for each actionable customer sales order, picks the goods, performs ordinary order preparation and packing, attaches the Client-funded label, and tenders the parcel to a carrier for delivery to the final customer. It is available for accepted Amazon FBM/MFN, Walmart seller-fulfilled, Shopify, eBay or other approved channels through an enabled integration or accepted manual workflow. Inventory storage and carrier postage are separate from the per-unit fulfillment charge.
Direct-to-customer fulfillment | Squirrel handling rate | Size and weight limit |
Standard single product | $1.50 per shipped unit | Up to 16 × 12 × 8 inches and 4 lb per product. |
Defined bundle or multipack | $2.50 for up to 2 component units; +$0.50 per additional component unit, per shipped finished pack | At least 2 components; up to 25 × 20 × 15 inches and 10 lb per finished pack. |
The $1.50 single rate or $2.50 two-component bundle base rate includes standard pick, ordinary pack work and application of the authorized shipping label. It is per shipped unit or finished bundle, not a per-order flat fee. Each bundle component beyond two adds $0.50 per shipped finished bundle: a 3-component 3PL bundle costs $3.00 and a 4-component bundle costs $3.50. For example, two separate singles cost $3.00, while one single and one two-component bundle cost $4.00. We do not offer kitting or complex assembly. If the Client separately ordered FBA/WFS-style pre-prep for the same stock, only the actual additional work accepted is charged; identical assembly work is not billed twice.
The Client is responsible for purchasing, supplying or authorizing purchase of the shipping label to the end customer. Carrier postage, surcharges, shipping insurance, expedited service and any carrier or marketplace charges are the Client’s expense. Squirrel’s $1.50/$2.50 rates do not include them. Shipping cartons, mailers, protective materials beyond the ordinary resources included in the accepted workflow, special inserts, custom packaging, or additional labor must be disclosed and quoted before use if not already included in a specific written agreement.
A single item exceeding 16 × 12 × 8 inches or 4 lb is outside the $1.50 standard single rate, even if within the 25 × 20 × 15 inch and 10 lb maximum for reviewed goods. It requires an approved individual 3PL quote before its customer order is released. A bundle beyond 25 × 20 × 15 inches or 10 lb is not covered by the $2.50 rate and may be declined. No additional same-day or next-business-day dispatch surcharge applies to eligible standard 3PL orders.
FBA/WFS prep has a 48–72 hour target, normally 2–3 business days after physical receipt with complete ASN, authorizations and labels. Standard 3PL fulfillment uses a separate 2:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time (ET) cutoff: an eligible order placed and actionable before 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday is dispatched to the carrier that same business day; an order placed or first actionable at or after 2:00 p.m. is dispatched the next business day. “Actionable” requires received and available inventory, a released order visible to Squirrel, accurate recipient information, a funded valid shipping label or authority to purchase it, and an operating designated carrier pickup. Store orders entered on weekends, on Squirrel closing days or when that carrier is closed are scheduled for the next business day on which both operate. Carrier holidays such as Labor Day, when the selected UPS, USPS, FedEx or other service does not pick up, shift the dispatch date accordingly. The relevant carrier-service schedule applies. These dispatch targets do not include carrier transit or guarantee delivery to the buyer.
7. Additional preparation and materials
Service | Rate or rule |
Sticker or label removal | $0.35 per unit. |
Bubble wrapping | $2.00 per unit. |
Polybagging required under base FBA/WFS prep | Included in the applicable base prep rate. |
Extra boxes, mailers or materials | Prior quote if not included in the accepted ordinary workflow. |
Extraordinary inspection or manual work | Written scope and quote before work. |
An additional service is charged only when requested or approved. The same labor is not billed twice under two names. Standard 3PL pick and ordinary packing are included in the 3PL per-unit fee.
8. Pallet handling and freight
Service | Rate or condition |
Pallet building | $20 per pallet. |
Stretch wrapping | $20 per pallet. |
Pallet labeling | No additional Squirrel charge. |
Standard handling and dispatch | No additional Squirrel charge beyond the applicable listed service. |
LTL carrier freight and outbound labels | Carrier cost paid by the Client. |
Direct FTL dispatch to Amazon | Not currently offered. |
Building and stretch wrapping the same pallet total $40 in these two listed services before approved additional materials and carrier freight. Inbound FTL unloading does not mean outbound FTL dispatch is offered.
9. Storage
Storage | Rate or condition |
Initial period | Four calendar days included, receipt date is day one. |
Standard 48 × 40 inch pallet | $60 per pallet per month after the initial period. |
Cartons, bins, nonstandard pallets or other arrangements | Written quote and billing method agreed before charge. |
3PL stock held while awaiting future FBM or store customer orders remains subject to storage after the initial four days. The $60 pallet rate is monthly, not daily. A partial-month method or shared-space arrangement must be disclosed before a charge; none is assumed here. Charges end when release or authorized disposition is completed under the applicable arrangement.
10. Returns, removals, supplier returns and disposal
Service | Rate | What is covered |
Marketplace or store return / Amazon removal processing | $1.00 per received item | Receipt, external inspection and photos under an accepted return workflow. |
FBA/WFS single re-prep | $0.59 per unit | Additional when an eligible returned unit is authorized for marketplace re-prep. |
FBA/WFS bundle re-prep | $0.99 for up to 2 component units; +$0.50 per additional component unit, per finished pack | Additional to return processing when ordinary bundle assembly is performed. If an intact returned bundle needs only an agreed lesser task, quote that work in advance. |
FBA/WFS Big Size re-prep | $0.99 per unit | Additional to return processing when performed. |
New direct-to-customer dispatch after a return | $1.50 single or $2.50 base bundle plus $0.50 for each component beyond two | New actionable sales order and Client-funded carrier label required. |
Authorized ordinary disposal | $0.50 per item | No special-waste or certified destruction service. |
Supplier-return coordination includes the first labor hour without charge; additional labor is $30 per hour, plus necessary materials and shipping paid by the Client. It is not billed at an automatic $1 per supplier-return unit. Standard inbound damage documentation is not a separate return. Storage while awaiting instructions remains subject to the posted or agreed storage terms.
11. Portal, third-party charges and unlisted services
PrepShipHub is an independent platform provider. Squirrel has no separate mandatory setup, account or monthly software charge in this schedule for the ordinary enabled client-portal workflow. If the Client directly subscribes to a feature or service from PrepShipHub, Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, eBay, Stripe or a carrier, that provider’s disclosed price and the Client’s authorization govern its charge. Squirrel does not silently add it to its own invoice.
A Squirrel-managed custom integration, migration, special report, manual workaround, nonstandard fulfillment, special storage or other unlisted work requires an advance written description and price accepted by the Client. We do not offer kitting or complex assembly. A portal outage alone does not create a surcharge. A feature visible in software neither guarantees support nor establishes a price.
Where Squirrel causes a preparation or order-picking error, reasonably possible corrective work is performed without a new fee for that correction. Client-requested changes or correction of Client-supplied data may require separately approved work. The responsibility analysis is governed by the Terms, not merely the label of the charge.
